05-03-2026 Open Education Ambassador Awards 2026
This annual event recognises educators who champion OERs – such as interactive textbooks, online courses, and collaborative tools – and actively promote openness across the university and beyond. Nominated by their faculties, these ambassadors show how open education enhances accessibility, inclusion, and collaboration. Their efforts help shape a future where learning is available to everyone, everywhere. If you wish to register to attend the ceremony on campus (12:00-13:00hrs), please email the Learning for Life Centre by 2 March.

15-09-2025 COMBINE website live The first version of this website is now online. It contains the first information we can share about this program. More content will be added in the coming months.


01-09-2025 Start preparation phase Today marks the official start date of this program. In the coming weeks some preperatory meetings and brainstorm sessions are planned. We will also work on a more detailed planning for the coming months.


31-05-2025 Project granted The project Co-created interactive open textbooks: education for the 21st century is granted under the Comenius Leadership Fellow program of the NRO.
