Work package 1: Tool development
In order to make it easy for everyone co-creating materials on a Jupyter book environment (which we recommend), this work package is dedicated to deliver a platform that supports this. On this platform users can work with the following tools:
A collaborative book editing tool with a ‘what-you-see-is-what-you-get’ interface.
A co-creation tool to use with groups of students.
An advanced problem creator tool.
A note-taking tool for students.
Multilingual support.
All tools will be published as open software and, where possible, integrated into the Jupyter book package for optimal re-use. While the development of these tools will be a continuous process, delivering versions that can be tested and used in courses are important milestones in the project. The team is lead by Freek Pols.
