Work package 2: Co-creation with students
This work package is all about implementing co-creation methods into courses.
At least two approaches (many-author and many-branch models) will be piloted in courses in various programmes and at both the BSc and MSc level.
It involves as well a research project regarding the impact of co-creation of open learning materials on student learning and teacher experience.
From the program team Carola van der Muren, Calvin Rans and Renske Voerman are involved in this WP.
During Academic Year(AY)26 the following courses did a (pre)pilot: LM3771, WB1642 and AP3311, in which texts (book chapters and wiki pages), assignments and exercises were co-created. All three courses will continue in AY27, together with eight more pilots.
Based on the outcome of the pilots, we will develop instructions for teachers to include co-creation elements in their courses, which we will again test, with a larger group of teachers. The result of this work package will be twofold: a new teaching method ready to be adopted elsewhere, and an extension of the collection of interactive open learning materials.
